Overview

This project is an 18-unit and 17,750 ft2 multi-family residential project located in Cranbrook, BC.  All BC Housing projects are required to achieve LEED Gold, and the projects that are eligible to qualify for LEED Gold are also required to meet the intent of BC Housing’s High Performance Green House Gas Strategy (GHG).

Energy modelling is required to ensure the building satisfies the requirements of the GHG neutral goal for BC Housing projects. There are three options that have been evaluated in terms of annual energy costs and eligibility of LEED points.

A LEED energy compliance modelling will be conducted once the construction drawings are issued and equipment shop drawings are reviewed, and an energy compliance report for LEED application will be prepared and submitted.
